2025 Finances: YVHA Earns Another Clean Audit

The Yampa Valley Housing Authority is proud to share that its 2025 financial audit, conducted by McMahan and Associates, resulted in an unmodified (clean) opinion—the highest level of assurance an organization can receive.

Auditors noted that YVHA’s financial records closely align with audited statements, reflecting strong internal controls and sound financial management. The review found no major adjustments, no compliance issues, and no need for significant budget amendments—demonstrating accurate forecasting and disciplined oversight.

In addition, the required federal “single audit” tied to the Hillside Village HUD loan confirmed full compliance with all requirements.

Auditors specifically highlighted the strength of YVHA’s team, noting the organization’s solid accounting staff and strong administrative procedures as key contributors to this outcome.
