REPORTS TO: Regional Property Manager
SALARY RANGE: $25 -$28 hourly

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

The Community Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to current and future residents. The Community Manager will ensure all aspects of property operations are running smoothly. This includes oversight of maintenance personnel, financial responsibilities, and meeting ownership expectations.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

The Community Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for the property’s tenants. They are expected to provide excellent customer service and establish a rapport with vendors. The Yampa Valley Housing Authority is looking for someone who is organized, detail oriented and capable of working without direct supervision.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Operations:

• Mediate community disputes
• Maintain proper confidentiality and privacy needs of all parties.
• Control access to property, community spaces, and units
• Properly maintain resident documents and files
• Manage resident lease renewals.
• Organize resident events and activities.

Property Inspections and upkeep
• Facilitate weekly property inspections
• Maintain the appearance
• Facilitate annual unit inspections
• Facilitate Move-in & Move-out inspections

Policies and Compliance
• Understand and maintain compliance with YVHA guidelines
• Understand and maintain policies for outside agencies (CHFA, DOLA, HUD, etc.)
• Adhering to policies related to Fair Housing.

Policies and Compliance
• Collect, document and deposit Security Deposits
• Collect, document and deposit resident rents
• Collect, document and deposit banking and/or damage fees
• Oversee all vendor services, following YVHA guidelines
