In 2007, the Yampa Valley Housing Authority purchased the Fish Creek Mobile Home Park to ensure future affordability for the residents of this community. The 68 homes are situated along the beautiful Yampa River near Angler’s Drive and US 40. Lot rents range from $455 to $505 and include water, sewer, and trash pickup and snow removal. Residents are responsible for electric, gas, cable and Internet service.
To help foster the sense of community, YVHA requires that homes be owner-occupied. All roommates must pass credit and background checks and are approved by YVHA before being allowed to move into the park. Cats are permitted in the park; dogs are not.
If an owner decides to sell their Fish Creek Park mobile home, their Lot Rental Agreement will expire when the home is sold. Prior to closing, the new potential owner must submit a new Lot Rental Agreement and be pre-approved by YVHA.
YVHA requires the following documents to approve either a purchase or the addition of a roommate:
- Drivers license
- Social security number or ITIN
- Criminal and credit background approval
- Mobile home title
