The Yampa Valley Housing Authority’s service area includes the city limits of Steamboat Springs and the boundaries of the Steamboat Springs Rural Fire Protection District.

HILLSIDE VILLAGE APARTMENTS

Since 2007, the Yampa Valley Housing Authority has owned and managed the Hillside Village Apartments complex on Tamarac Drive. The complex, which includes 35 two bedroom and 20 one bedroom apartments, targets low-income residents and consistently has a waitlist.

FISH CREEK MOBILE HOME PARK

In 2007, the Yampa Valley Housing Authority purchased the Fish Creek Mobile Home Park to ensure future affordability for the residents of this community. The 68 homes are situated along the beautiful Yampa River near Angler’s Drive and US 40. Lot rents range from $410 to $475 and include water, sewer, and trash pickup and snow removal. Residents are responsible for electric, gas, cable and Internet service.

THE RESERVES AT STEAMBOAT

The Reserves at Steamboat Springs is a 48 unit apartment project targeted at households making between 40% and 60% of the Area Median Income.  The project will be located on Elk River Road just north of Moe’s BBQ and is slated to begin construction in the spring of 2016.
